What data do we process and why?
Contact form
When you send the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message, and optionally your company name and phone number. We only use this data to answer your question, based on your request and our legitimate interest in communicating with (potential) customers.
The WhatsApp button on our website lets you start a conversation with us. The conversation takes place on WhatsApp, to which the privacy policy of WhatsApp (Meta) applies. We only use your messages and phone number to answer your question.
Cookies and website statistics
To improve our website, we measure how visitors use it, for example which sections are viewed and how often the contact form is sent. We use PostHog for this, with servers in the European Union. We do not store IP addresses and do not link statistics to your name or email address.
- Accept: we place analytics cookies, so we can see how visitors use the website across multiple visits.
- No thanks: we do not place analytics cookies. We then only measure per day and without cookies, so we do not recognise you on a later visit.
We also use functional storage in your browser that the website needs to work, such as your language, your light or dark theme and your cookie preference. This does not require consent.
You can change your choice at any time via at the bottom of the page.
Who do we share your data with?
We never sell your data. We only share it with parties that help us run the website:
- Resend: delivers the messages from the contact form to our mailbox.
- PostHog: website statistics, with servers in the EU.
- Hetzner: hosting of the website, with servers in Nuremberg (Germany).
We have data processing agreements with these parties about the security and use of your data. Resend is based in the United States; appropriate safeguards for transferring data outside the EU are part of that agreement.
How long do we keep your data?
We keep messages from the contact form no longer than needed to handle your question, and no later than 2 years after our last contact. If your request leads to an order, we keep the data as long as the law requires (the Dutch tax retention period is 7 years). Website statistics are deleted after no more than 7 years.
Security
Our website uses a secure connection (HTTPS). Contact form data is not stored in a database on the website, but sent directly to our mailbox.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data. You can also object to the use of your data, restrict its processing, have your data transferred and withdraw any consent you gave. To do so, email info@mwofficesolutions.nl. We will respond within one month.
Not satisfied with how we handle your data? You can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy, for example when our website changes. The latest version is always on this page.
